Real and/or Imagined "Other" Contacts

At this point, you may be wondering whether I'm wandering off message (and dragging you along). All I can say is, these experiences of contact are among the most powerful and meaningful I've had. They comprise a deep, consistent thread in my life, running from infancy right through the present — and presumably on into the future. I consider it part of my role here to share the possibilities that are being unlocked in these experiences; and it appears that millions of other people are unlocking and sharing them, too. That's how the world will change, and be preserved.

And if you're wondering why I buried this stuff so deep, it's because I'm not much interested in having the aggressively skeptical or merely curious reader jump right into the middle of my Other encounters and play havoc with them — "This one's a laugh; this one's obviously made up; this guy is out to lunch." I figure a selection process has taken place on the way to this page: if you've gotten this far, you probably know me well enough to take me seriously when I want to be, and to recognize when I'm having fun. That doesn't mean I expect you to always believe me, or not to question me.

Before we dive in, please let me share with you my (unoriginal) theory on dreaming and "spiritual development." It's frightfully clear to me that if I had to do all the stuff I've done in dreams from a standing start (that is, while "wide awake"), none of it would have happened — at least not without scarfing massive doses of psychedelics, which gets old fast. In dreams, my walls are down ... but so is consciousness. I can do a lot ... because I don't know any better. There's a tradeoff, in other words.

The trick is to straddle the fence between doing and knowing, and to slowly but surely lower, and then do away with, the fence. Dreaming can then become lucid, and even spill over into waking life (as you'll see in my December 21,1983 experience). The astral and terrestrial spheres can merge; Heaven can come to Earth ... through us.

OK then, into the Labyrinth with ya...

The first experience (that I remember)

March 1969 (a million laughs; one UFO)

September 1969 (ouch, right in the third eye!)

April 21, 1970 (a curiously green experience, and its reprise in 1972)

November 1970 (quacking aliens and a quaking inductee)

December 21, 1983 (your faithful reporter speaks in tongues)

And for many of you that will be quite enough of that. It's OK, you're excused.

If this sort of thing is your cup (and saucer) of tea, though, plunge in.
